I don't really understand how freezing is less severe than a crash, if the only \
difference for me is that I have to killall -9 kicker before I can start it again. \
:-) But I got used to it... I fire up konsole, press up arrow few times, 
killall -9 kicker ; kicker
is never too far in the history... :-)
