Summary: kicker/kmenu causes crash in xinerama with a screen
                    rotated
           Product: kicker
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Gentoo Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: crash
          Priority: NOR
         Component: multiscreen
        AssignedTo: jfirebaugh@kde.org
        ReportedBy: mightymr1@yahoo.com

Version: (using KDE KDE 3.1.3)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages

It appears that kicker (kde 3.1.3) is causing XFree86 4.3 to crash (it may actually \
be a kmenu problem). I say this because kicker is what gets complained about in the \
console output after the crash. When I run twm in the same situation I can start \
kicker, but it crashes as soon as I click on kmenu.

The situation:
  xinerama with 2 screens
1 of the screens is rotated ccw (screen section: Option "rotate" "ccw")

KDE is working fine without the rotation, but when set to rotate, it crashes with \
starting KDE, right about where kicker would normally appear on the screen. Again, \
as I indicated above, twm does function with the rotation.

Naturally, the expected behavior is a normal KDE session with one of the screens \
rotated 90 degrees counter-clockwise.

Thanks so much.
