Summary: filetype specific editor settings
Product: kdevelop
Version: unspecified
Platform: RedHat RPMs
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: wishlist
Priority: NOR
Component: general
AssignedTo: kdevelop-devel@kdevelop.org
ReportedBy: kueck@cs.ubc.ca
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.1)
Installed from: RedHat RPMs
OS: Linux
It would be very nice to be able to have different sets of editor settings (for the \
integrated text editor) for different file types.
For example, I want to use and visualize tabs when editing Makefiles.
I want to use spaces instead and not see tabs when editing C++ files.
The editor already has some form of filetype dependency with the syntax highlighting \
modes. It would be nice to extend this to other settings as well.
