Could you check which one of those 2 commands work (in a terminal):

/usr/bin/faxspool -F 'xxx' -f '' -D 'Walter u. Andrea Eisenhauer'
'0403603937543' 'file.ps'

/usr/bin/faxspool -F 'xxx' -f '' -D 'Walter u. Andrea Eisenhauer'
0403603937543 'file.ps'

Explanation: it looks like the internal command used by kdeprintfax
is wrong, so I'm trying to see what is not understood by faxspool.
In this case, I just tried to remove the quotes around the fax number.
Use an existing PS file instead of 'file.ps' in the command above.
You may also try to play a little bit with the other options to see
if they are correct or not.
