Thanks for the report, but this is no bug. The "artifacts" are the ends of 
Kicker, which is shown in the minipagerapplet as well. Its that way because 
every window is shown with a little shadow and kicker just happens to be too 
small (only 2 pixels high in the minipager) for Qt to be able to draw the 
shadow properly.

I can't do much about it but we will see if they go away once I improved the 
preview itself.
