Hey, why do we need to duplicate the functionality (checking for email) and have 
another program loaded into memory (kbiff) since the user will probably just read 
his/her emails as soon as a new one arrives? 
 
Plus, if the user doesn't use KMail as a mailer, then kbiff is always available. 
So I propose we reopen this wish item, in fact I think I will start working on it one of 
these days...
