------- I agree with the above bug reporter that kaboodle needs a volume \
control.
In my opinion a volume control doesn't make the interface more complicated, \
but it would improve usability. This because after klicking a sound \
file/movie, one often has to adjust the volume, however, the focus is on \
kaboodle and one has switch focus to the kicker panel in order to adjust \
the volume with kmix and then focus back to kaboodle. An integrated volume \
control would minimize this mousing-around-effort that has to be done \
several times in a row if one listens to audio sources that were recorded \
at different levels.
I like the simple interface of kaboodle and it's great as a simple \
all-round simple mediaplayer that nicely completes noatun, which focuses \
more on long play via play lists. However, I think that an integrated \
volume control is not a luxury but makes life easier.
Kaboodel version: 1.6.1
System: KDE 3.1.1 on Debian unstable

Thanks for your attention and thank you for the nice application!
Beat
