I have encountered the following problem multiple times.

Open an archive (for example zip) which contains many, many files. This will render \
Ark extremly slow. It's like the time to draw the differnt filenames in the scrolls \
takes time not linear to the number of files but time proportional to the square of \
the number of files. Just a feeling. I can make measurments if you wish. Please try \
to find a solution to this.
