Well the picture is delayed a bit; That is the splash screen comes first,  
later the picture is drawn.  
I see that I have stated that I run kde3.1; thast is an error since I run 3.02  
(Redhat 8 default ). 
If this have been resolved in 3.1 I can close this bug.
