Better fix the current code instead of putting old tarballs there. We no longer really support older 
versions either. 
 
As for the build problems, could you try replacing the admin/ dir with one from, say, KDE 3.0 or 3.1 
releases? I think the released tarball was including CVS HEAD's one. You can check it out from 
KDE CVS like 
 
cvs checkout -rKDE_3_0_BRANCH kde-common/admin 
cvs checkout -rKDE_3_1_BRANCH kde-common/admin 
 
Try symlinking either of those to admin and see if that does the trick. 
 
Also, given your problems, please configure using --enable-debug=full so you get debug output 
and we can hopefully find out what's making Kopete so slow for you. As none of us (AFAIK) uses 
RedHat we need some help to get it fixed there... 
 
Lastly, be sure to provide the correct --prefix to configure or you won't have any icons and 
plugins. See the INSTALL file for details.
