Yup... its a screen size thing. Every time I log in using VNC my icons get 
re-arranged (grrr!). As a work arround I've created a different user for 
when I'm connecting via VNC. There is an argument for saying on a per 
host configuration since I don't generaly want Kopete and KMail (I use 
Pine when I'm away, its much quicker than VNC!) when connecting via 
VNC, but I do want them to start when connecting localy. 
 
A thought has just occured to me... would it be possible to write some sort 
of bash script to manage this? Has anyone tried this and succeeded?
