         Component: general
        AssignedTo: ettrich@kde.org
        ReportedBy: ap125@informatik.uni-rostock.de

Version: 1.91 (using KDE KDE 3.1)

OS: Linux

Hi,

I tried to use kstart to start different apps on different desktops. This works only to some \
extent:

1. Apps (even KDE-Apps) that are started from the KMenu and having commandline options appended \
are not started on the correct Desktop, but the actual

2. Non-KDE/Non-Qt Apps are not started on the correct desktop if started from the KMenu, I \
verified this with gnumeric and abiword and top. Linguist starts fine, as long as there are no \
commandline options.

3. Apps with commandline options and also Non-KDE/Non-Qt Apps start fine even with commandline \
options attached (tried that with xterm -e).

Andreas
