This is indeed a problem, kmail doesn't currently display the download-status of 
attachments.

The server probably needs some time to cancel the transmition.

Here we go, this is our bug. The backtrace is useless unfortunately because it doesn't 
contain debug-info but I'll try to reproduce this.
