The problem is still present in KDE 3.1.0.
Moreover, Konqueror does never break a word containing the soft hyphen.
Example:
testing<p>
long long long long long long testing line line line
Make the konqueror windows narrower and narrower. You'll see that testing is either
entirely on the second line, or entirely on the third, but never broken, as it should.
The soft-hyphen also shows up funny in textarea's of forms (it is superimposed on the
character that precedes it)
