I think this feature needs more documentation to be considered "fixed". I consider
myself an advanced user, and I can't find how to enable to feature (in Kmail 1.5,
distributed with KDE 3.1 RC 6). I tried the following:
  1. checking the Properties dialog of the current "sent-mail" folder.
  2. checking the Properties dialog of the potential "sent-mail" folder on my IMAP server.
  3. checking the "Folders" section in the preferences.
  4. Reading the documentation.

I couldn't find anywhere in the documentation that mentioned this, but I did find this
sentence that seemed to imply it might not be possible:

"Note that most properties are only available for your own folders and not for default
folder like inbox etc.. "

I suggest re-opening the bug until the documentation or the UI is clearer. Thanks!

 Mark
