Summary: pasting clipboard as file overwrite existing file
           Product: konqueror
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Compiled Sources
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: konq-bugs@kde.org
        ReportedBy: jens.dagerbo@swipnet.se

Version: unknown (using KDE 3.1.0 (RC5))
Installed from: compiled sources
Compiler: gcc version 3.2.1
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.19-gentoo-r10

Not sure if konqueror is the right module for this but..

To reproduce:
1. Select some text. Copy it. (edit->copy or ctrl-c)
2. Go to konq or Desktop and paste. In the dialog that prompts for a filename, type \
the name of an existing file.
-> the original file is overwritten and no warning is given.

Ouch!
