Summary: Support for more than one modem
           Product: kppp
           Version: 2.1.2
          Platform: Compiled Sources
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: harri@trolltech.com
        ReportedBy: giovanni@communicationvalley.it

Version: 2.1.2 (using KDE 3.1.0 (RC5))
Installed from: compiled sources
Compiler: gcc version 3.2 20020903 (Red Hat Linux 8.0 3.2-7)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.20

I would like to suggest that KPPP be able to easily support more than one modem \
installed on the same box, on different devices, with different init strings. My case \
in point is I have a laptop with an integrated winmodem, plus a Nokia phone that \
doubles as a standard modem and a GPRS one. That's three devices with three different \
init strings, each of them suited for a different usage depending on coverage, \
availability of a landline, etc.

Giovanni
