As far as I know, it used in KOffice 1.2 only in KWord's Latex import filter. 
 
Can you try to modify the file koffice/filters/kword/latex/import/parser/Makefile.am in line 4 
remove -lfl 
 
Does KOffice compile correctly after that? (In the development version of KOffice, it was simply 
removed and it works.)
