this has been fixed for a long time (in fact, 2.2.0 didn't have this problem,  
as long as one compiled both kdebase (kwin) and qt passing passing 
--with-xinerama to the configure scripts - the support was optional. 
  
It uses the policy of always showing windows on the screen the pointer is  
currently on, which works quite nicely (and centers dialogs, etc onto one  
screen).
