This makes OpenPGP/MIME support practically useless when encryption 
comes into the game.

The problem is that the code is simply not prepared for the fact that a 
mp/enc can be actually signed. It seems to be a shortcoming of the 
CryptPlug interface. decryptMessage() doesn't allow to retrieve the 
information on whether or not the message was also signed or not.
