I'm experiencing unexpected behaviour of the ark program. I'm using Suse 8.0 \
Professional (Konqueror 3.0.0 and Ark 2.1.9) This is what I do:
I right-click on an archive (I have tried zip and rar archives) in konqueror and \
select the 'extract to...' option. The extract dialog appears. In the extract to form \
I change this line: file:/<path to archive>/
to this line:
file:/<path to archive>/<empty directory>/
(where <empty directory> usually is the archive-name with the extension stripped - \
foo.bar.zip -> foo.bar) and I press Enter. The archive is then extracted in the \
directory <path to archive> and not in the directory <empty directory> which I \
entered. It looks like the entry isn't updated when I press the Enter key.

In addition I would like to ask if maybe an option can be added to the popup-menu. \
What I would like to see is that when one right-clicks on an archive in konqueror \
there would be an option in the popup-menu that says 'Extract to <archive name \
without extension>'. So right-clicking on a file called foo.bar.zip would give the \
option 'Extract to foo.bar/'

An option like this would be very usefull for me, since most of the time I just need \
to extract the archive and do something with the files that were in it (usually \
reading/looking at/running them) and then I would delete the directory again when I'm \
done. If an extra option would clutter the popup-menu you could also consider adding \
an Ark submenu and put the extract options in there, but I doubt that would be \
necessary.
