Subject: Bug#47263: reloading html pages with applets loads applet from cache even when cache is disabled

Package: kjava
Version: KDE 3.0.2
Severity: wishlist
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
Compiler: gcc version 2.95.3 20010315 (SuSE)
OS: Linux
OS/Compiler notes: Not Specified

I have created a simple html-page which includes a java-applet (loaded by the \
applet-tag). I changed the appletcode and compiled it again. Komqueror did not notice \
that the applet's class-file has changed and punching the F5 or "Reload"-Button did \
not work.

Caching is disabled and the file was opened from the local machine using sun java \
1.4.1RC.

Sometimes Konq realized that the applet changed when I touched the html-file or \
opened and closed another one but that did not work every time.

The best way is to close Konq and then reopen it and load the html-page again.

Is there no function (like ctrl+F5) which forces the browser to reload the page \
completely?
