Subject: Konqueror stops download at 99% or at x%
From: felix.seeger@gmx.de

Package: kio-http
Version: Unbekannt (using KDE 2.2.1 )
Severity: normal
Installed from: Debian Package 4:2.2.1-6 (testing/unstable)
Compiler: gcc version 2.95.4 20010902 (Debian prerelease)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.10
OS/Compiler notes:

If I download a file (ftp or http), and it is a big file (I think over 2MB) konqueror \
may stop downloading with status: delayed/stalled (in german "verzögert")

Sometimes it will resume but not always.
Thats bad but ok, because I can resume for myself if I download it again (good work)

But over ftp this doesn't work. I think because ftp is the same as a local \
filesystem.

It maybe my connection, but I think there could be a method which checks if a \
download is delayed. If it is, konqueror could reconnect to the server.

If Konqueror stopps at 99% it's often completly downloaded. But the download window \
shows status delayed. I can chancel the download an have the right file on my drive. \
(right size no .part)

thanks
have fun
