Package: kspread
Version: 1.2 beta2 (using KDE 3.0.2 )
Severity: normal
Installed from: Unspecified Linux
Compiler: Not Specified
OS: Linux
OS/Compiler notes: Not Specified

Hi,

do the following:
enter some values for the consolidate function of kspread.
klick data -> consolidate.
mark the first area of values.
click add.
mark a second area of values, click add.
now mark a result area as big as the "source areas". i used 1column * 4 rows. mark it \
from top to bottomn, so that the top fields are blue shaded and the field at the \
bottomn is white.

now click ok in the dialog.
the result area is not taken into account, but the white cell is used as the top left \
cell for the first value. so the values are added below the marked area.

the users can find an entry in the help, which says, that the destination has to be a \
single cell. i think it is a better solution to check, if the reference is a range of \
cells, and if it is, get its top left cell and not the currently active one in the \
marked range.

this way the users have a consistent interface, as it is intuitive to mark a \
destination range, when you mark source ranges.

thx, Holger
