Subject: Bug#45261: The text over the input field is only visible on a large kicker
From: jju () dif ! dk
Date: 2002-07-15 21:22:36
[Download RAW message or body]
Package: kstart
Version: KDE 3.0.6 CVS/CVSup/Snapshot
Severity: normal
Installed from: Compiled sources
Compiler: gcc/g++ 2.95.3
OS: Linux
OS/Compiler notes: Not Specified
There is a small text "Run command:" over the input field in the Application Launcher \
applet.
That's nice, but it is only visible when kicker is set to "Large" size. At "Normal" \
size the text is partly hidden by the input field (at least with the Keramic style.
I believe the text should be removed automatically when there is not enough vertical \
space to display it completely (surely it must be possible to calculate that at \
startup and every time kicker changes size). A text that's cut in half by the input \
box does not look very good.
