I just build and installed the NewsTicker (from KDE 3.1alpha1), and the very first \
time I ran it I changed some newssource and colour settings. I then pressed Apply and \
Ok, but the settings did not take effect. I reopened the configuration and the \
changes I had made where visible in the config, but not in the ticker itself. \
Removing the newsticker from kicker and re-adding/re-starting it activated the \
changes I had made and now I can change settings and apply them without problems.  \
The problem only occoured the very first time.
