In the kdmrc file (/opt/kde/share/config/kdm/kdmrc on my system) it says that Xdmcp \
is enabled by default, but it is not.  Here's how the relevant lines look in my \
unmodified kdmrc file from KDE 3.1alpha1 :

[Xdmcp]
# Whether KDM should listen to XDMCP requests. Default is true.
Enable=false

Either the comment should be changed to reflect the fact or the default should be \
changed to "true" to match the comment...
