Subject: When my net connection is busy, it takes konqueror 15-20 seconds to start
From: torsten@inetw.net

Package:           konqueror
Version:           pre-2.9 (using kde pre-2.9 cvs >= 20010806) (using KDE 2.2.0 \
                CVS/CVSup/Snapshot)
Severity:          normal
Installed from:    Compiled sources
Compiler:          gcc 2.95.2.1
OS:                Linux
OS/Compiler notes: Not Specified

Hi, I had a very busy internet connection - which usually doesn't slow startup of \
konqueror (about 5 seconds).

It can take 15-20 seconds for konqueror to start up now, with a busy internet \
connection (56k modem saturated).

I have noticed similar behavious with non-internet-enable programs.

ciao
Torsten
