I am sorry, but this is not sufficient.

a) I did the configure with the --with-extra-libs
b) You can see this as this dir (/tmp/LIBS_3.0.1) is included in the linking 
command but only as -R (-L is missing)
c) In all other subdirectories this problem does not occur

In case it helps I may submit the configure logfile ...

IMHO thos problem is not DONE ... ;-(
