Hi, i have been trying for a couple of days now to implement an new mail \
notification in system tray applet in kicker.
I have come so far as i can get without help I think. I just followed the \
"Beep on new mail feature" and copied and modified it to my needs, and \
works fine showing the kmail icon in the system tray when new mail arrives \
with KSystemTray(). But unlike Beep, the icon has to dissapear again as \
soon as all unread messages are marked as read and appear everytime a mail \
is marked unread.
I found a signal "numUnreadMsgsChanged(KMFolder*)" but now i need a total \
unread messages, and i couldent figure it out really. As i understand it, \
UnreadMsg is cached in kmailrc, but seperate under each folder entry, but \
no total.
If someone could help me figure this one out i could take care of it myself \
and submit a patch when i finished that you guys could take a look at, if \
this feature is wanted at all of course.
I my self think it is a good thing. The popup is a to provocative, and the \
beep is to anonymous.
Kall me a windows ripoff but thats one feature i like.
Thanks for youre attention!
