Subject: calendar no longer displays if clock removed and then re-added
From: markgr@frisurf.no

Package: kclockapplet
Version: possibly all versions (using KDE 3.0.5 CVS/CVSup/Snapshot)
Severity: normal
Installed from: Compiled sources
Compiler: gcc version 2.95.2 19991024 (release)
OS: Linux
OS/Compiler notes: Not Specified

I have had this bug as long as I can remember but only now have investigated further.

If I remove the clock applet and then later add it again, the calendar can not be \
displayed, ever again! Instead, on the task bar an "appletproxy" button appears. \
Other users on this system who have not removed their clock work fine. If I remove \
~/.kde/share/config/kickerrc and restart then the clock behaves correctly again.
