I'm looking at.

The default Copy & Paste functionality (also in X, I suppose) copies merely \
by marking text, no Ctrl-C needed. In many professional contexts that is \
not a very handy functionality - personally I do much language versioning \
of programs, and replacing a string with another language is just much \
handier under Windows. The recent BundesTux initiative also highlighted \
this issue.

I suggest that the Windows-compatible behaviour be made a configuration \
option. Should be easy to code and good for lots of plain users.
