Indeed, this is a correct symbol (Number sign - №) shown by KDE 2 and
Mozilla.
This seems to be a bug with Qt 3.0, KDE 3's basic library. QPainter
keeps painting this symbol as a square, even if I specify a font which
surely contains it (I know it shouldn't even care what font I select,
but just in case ...). Will look into it and report to Trolltech.
