It looks like the decimals are working, just that they get shuffled down one 
place on each subsequent calculation.  I just came to discover this one 
tonight myself.  Right in front of a Windows user no less!  Ack!

Open up KCalc and press the following keys in order.

2-.18-.18-.18[Enter}

According to KCalc this equals "1.81818".  Sorry to say it, but KCalc is DOA 
for KDE3 here.
