Hello Michael,
I cannot reproduce the bug after having deleted my .kde directory and 
reconfiguring the mail account. Neither the INBOX folder nor it's 
messages got displayed.

I guess I have to retract that bug or it should be marked as not easily 
reproducible.

I hope I did not cause You any inconvenience. Keep up the good work!
