Hi,

Thanks for the reply.  I did a clean recompile of kdelibs...I still have a 
non-functional KLineEditDlg.

Perhaps it isn't a kdelibs problem after all...The Konqueror "Open 
Location..." menu item launches a KLineEditDlg, I believe(?), and this one 
works fine.  On the other hand, this part of my code didn't change at all 
between my last and current CVS versions, so I don't understand why it's 
suddenly not working.  Here's the relevant code snippet; maybe I made a 
stupid mistake (although it's only one line).

  bool okPressed;
  QString schemename = KLineEditDlg::getText( i18n( "New Color Scheme" ),
    i18n( "Enter a name for the new color scheme" ),
    QString::null, &okPressed );

Could the problem be autoconf somehow?  I'm still using 2.13...
