Selecting text in Kate (maybe in other editors as well) does not SHOW properly, \
though the amount of selected text is correct. It's a visibility problem only:

How to reproduce the bug:
1. enter some text in the editor window of Kate
2. hold SHIFT and move the cursor left to select text
3. wait until the (green) cursor starts to blink
 -> BUG: the leftmost charselection goes off, although the cursor is positioned \
correctly

Maybe this is a bug in the editor-widget and happens in other KDE-Applications as \
well (didn't test it, though)
