Subject: Bug#38831: CSS: negative margins do not work (to create "punchouts")
From: mmh () gmx ! net
Date: 2002-03-01 13:08:23
[Download RAW message or body]
Package: khtml
Version: 4.0 (using KDE 2.9.0 3 (CVS >= 20020213))
Severity: normal
Installed from: SuSE
Compiler: gcc version 2.95.3 20010315 (SuSE)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.16-4GB
OS/Compiler notes:
Check out this page, which uses negative margins to achieve a nice graphical effect. \
It does not work in khtml, because (it seems to me) negative margins are ignored.

Mozilla does the right thing.
