Your message with subj: kdemultimedia-2.2.2. compile failure in MPG123playobject/MPG123arts.h artsplugin ERROR 1

Thank you for your bug report.
The bug that you reported has been identified, and has been fixed in the
latest development (CVS) version of KDE. I used _COMPILE_FIRST to fix it,
which will definitely work, also with parallel builds, but this also means
that it will only be fixed in the mainline (KDE3) branch as the other doesn't
have the necessary automake admin magic. The bug report will be closed.

has caused the attached bug report to be marked as done.

This means that you claim that the problem has been dealt with.
If this is not the case it is now your responsibility to reopen the
bug report if necessary, and/or fix the problem forthwith.

(NB: If you are a system administrator and have no idea what I'm
talking about this indicates a serious mail system misconfiguration
somewhere. Please contact me immediately.)

Subject: kdemultimedia-2.2.2. compile failure in MPG123playobject/MPG123arts.h artsplugin ERROR 1
From: info@netarmor.net

Package: arts
Version: KDE 2.2.2
Severity: normal
Installed from: FreeBSD Ports
Compiler:           gcc, g++ - GNU project C and C++ Compiler (gcc-2.95.3)
OS: FreeBSD
OS/Compiler notes: FreeBSD 4.4-R on IBM TP 600

When upgrading from KDE2.2 to KDE2.2.2
including KDOFFICE-1.1.1 using Freebsd
cvsup, pkgdb and portupgrade -ra all goes
well until the compile of
"kdemultimedia-2.2.2". The "hash" is correct
and compile begins and seems to run normally
until:

gmake[3]: MPG123 (playobject) artsplugin
MPG123arts.h - No such file or directory
MPG123 playobject_impl.h:54:syntax error
before ','
' ':61 syntax error
before '('
' ':65 "same error"
' ':75 syntax error
before 'protected'

It goes on until :105 confused by eariler
errors bailing out

gmake: leaving /mpg123/artsplugin" error 1

restoring old version

Wehn I attempt to use

portupgrade -r kdemultimedia-2.2.2 it tells
me that kdemultimedia-2.2.2 is already
installed. Using help about in KDE2.2.2 in
the panel for "multimedia" seems to show
that the old version is installed not the
new.

Help?

Mike
