After changing the preferences under "look and Feel", the panel crashes and does not restart. Even if you restart it by typing kicker & in a Konsole, it flashes the panel for a seconfd and then crashes again.The only way to get kicker to restart is to go into the control center and click use defaults and then trestart the X server. If you do not change back to "use defaults" but just restart the  X server, Kde loads WITHOUT the panel and it never comes up. All of this only seems to occour if you have any "style" other than default running. I notice it the most when I am running the MARBLE style.
