Hi Søren,

first of all, please set a message ID suffix in
Settings->Configure KMail...->Mime Headers
because otherwise threading won't work correctly with your messages.

You could try if converting the folders from Windows text format (CR/LF 
and Windows charset) to Unix text format (only LF and latin1 (?) 
charset) helps. To do the converting you can use for example recode. Of 
course you should backup the folders before converting.
