No, I did not mix that up, It is very consistent, and reproducable. I even 
have an entire folder where none of the mails are "searchable" on any search 
criteria (at least any of the one I have tried). For instance searching 
Subject contains "Hej" produces 0 result as does Subject does not contain 
"Hej".

Remark that the folders in question, was created using Netscape Messenger for 
windows. The cut of point mentioned in the first mail is VERY close to when I 
shifted to Messenger for Linux. The mails display okay, though. But maybe it 
can be a case of LF versus CR/LF in the file (just checked the folder-file 
has lots of carriage returns).

And yes they were really headers, I clipped them using "View - all headers", 
offcourse that did not reveal that the headers ended in CR.
