With KDE 2.2.1 (compiled from source) I am able to connect to https sites 
most of the time, but usually parts of the page (e.g. images, sub-pages) do 
not appear.

Proxy is Squid 2.2 STABLE 5, error message (after some time): "Could not 
connect to host Proxy PROXYNAME on port 3128."
