    Hello,

    1. There are no examples with Qt and F# but the Qyoto classes are regular .NET \
classes so you would use time as any other; for example, you could find a WPF or \
Windows Forms example in F# and translate that to Qyoto; 2. Qyoto is now mostly \
stable; however, I've put its development indefinitely on hold because I've decided \
to rebase it on SWIG instead of SMOKE; that is a lot of work for which I need much \
time I cannot afford in the foreseeable future;

    3. There is no support for Qt 5 and as far as I am concerned, there will not be \
until the migration to SWIG is complete.

    Best regards,
    Dimitar Dobrev

Subject: [Kde-bindings] Qyoto & F#

Hello,

I'd like to write open-source multi-platform desktop application by using some
type-safe compiled language - iow. not using C(++) & e.g. Python.

Considering that Qt is much better option for the task than GTK+
toolkit, the choice of implementation language greatly depends on the
availability of Qt bindings.

One possible option is to use F#, so I wonder how it works with Qyoto,
are there any examples of applications written using F# with Qyoto
bindings, what is the status of Qyoto project, support for Qt5 etc.?

The other option would be to use (Qt)Ada...

Sincerely,
Gour
