I mean - now it's usualy packaged in kdebindings rpm or deb. It's f= ine=20 but it requires to install all dependecies (kdelibs etc.) to use smoke for = 3rd=20 party stuff. Personally I don't have any problem with it (as a KDE/Qt user) but it's ver= y=20 hard to use for example non-qt based lib with distro smoke in eg. ubuntu (g= tk=20 based). My usecase: We (my company) are starting to use smoke not only for Qt bindings but for= =20 "any" c++ lib we need and sometimes it can be real pain to download part of= =20 KDE stuff to a production server where we need to use for example memcached= =20 smoke bindings... I hope you will understand ;) thanks, petr P.S.: there are no memcached bindings or whatever, but it's planned... --nextPart3960758.qqW7M60nxO Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name=signature.asc Content-Description: This is a digitally signed message part. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.15 (GNU/Linux) iQEcBAABAgAGBQJM5uEvAAoJEC8yRjM4uE2tyV0H+wRre+LAkK6x41d1362KUdYh qBF10BZs/mXL0LkCoxrtKnBW6B2rBfWNTMa6whfto62+SP3zjkphCxS+u+ScvBfx Bd0GTCmFmdKnvu8HrxDuWcPosuZT6h4C6kAK/BgKAz0cJQJ+RWb0K/j50aZ1mEyT fyskUu0PH+H0fnoQV9TQ08X134789FLzWnuqmh1FIrezWGEWatuV0HcUihO8MEQC Tf03IFloeHTe7/JZA2EI39R+ybcXDuCDdum9ZHKo251Gbx5Wjwxy1koTSiAR2h13 D7MbLF9Z3TuJeKAkmElAUUuaofbH6VdeH31Z+Zg/njZ8MtthR/NND4lcqMuiDNM= =mBfy -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --nextPart3960758.qqW7M60nxO-- --===============1873634228== Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Content-Disposition: inline _______________________________________________ Kde-bindings mailing list Kde-bindings@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kde-bindings --===============1873634228==--
