I purchased a couple days ago. I like the explanations and Korundum chapter, but it didn't provide enough example code for me to access already running DCOP services. I will have a look at those sites. Thanks again! Anthony Bargnesi On 8/30/06, Caleb Tennis wrote: > > > One more thing. There's a great PDF book with lots of QtRuby stuff in it as well:

http://pragmaticprogrammer.com/titles/ctrubyqt/index.html

I own it :).  I purchased a couple days ago.  I like the explanations and
Korundum chapter, but it didn't provide enough example code for me to
access already running DCOP services.

I will have a look at those sites.

Thanks again!

They basically mimic the equivalent C++ classes they wrap around.  So,
best bets are to look here:

http://doc.trolltech.com/3.3
http://developer.kde.org/documentation/library/3.5-api.php

There's a great PDF book with lots of QtRuby stuff in it as well:

http://pragmaticprogrammer.com/titles/ctrubyqt/index.html

But note that I kind of know the author, so my opinion may be a bit biased.

Caleb
