If the logout sound is long, KDE waits it to end before it shuts down the sound daemon. So if \
the logout sound is too long, it slows down the logout process. It seems to me that this is the \
case now, and I don't think artificially slowing down a process (and not only on very fast \
computers) is a good idea. So I think the logout sound, if needed at all, should be very short. \
