I tend to agree. If he wants to say that they are LGPL then he should provide the source code that he used to make them whether it is SVG, AI, or something else. But, if he doesn't want to -- which is completely and totally up to him -- then he should say that they are "KDE Icon License" or "BSD License". I don't see it as a major issue, but he should do it one way or the other. Personally I don't really need the source code, but I would appreciate it if he could supply either an SVG file _without_ Adobe extensions or an AI file that will open in Acrobat Reader. I note that there is no point in supplying an SVG file with Adobe extensions since KSVG and the icon loader don't use them (But sometimes they fail to ignore them).
