There is absolutely nothing wrong with your style, but I do have some questions.
  I ask this in the context of the fact that IMHO we already have too many
widget styles that are best described as "plain".  Which is good.  Plain styles
are more usable than ones that are too busy.

So, I guess my question is, what is different about your style and why should we
use it rather than one of the other plain styles?

Perhaps your style is better and we should replace several of the other plain
styles with your style, but it is an issue so I am asking.
