Antialias,

good points! i hadnt thought about them but probably should have. if anyone
has an app for boot design, then you can tell them to use the icon i sent
out earlier.

No Pablo, 'to boot' is not 'a boot'. You have to think about people who live
in non-english speaking countries.
Your icon reminds me to an old log icon used in old days. If you, for
example,
create an email application and name it Shit, it woudn't be appropriate to
create an icon which shows a piece of shit. It is still an email
application.
Lilo is a boot manager, and not a par of boots.

BTW, IMHO Andreas' new lilo icon is very nice, design is very interesting,
chosen colors are nice and it will be easily recognizible as kcmlilo icon.
